"100+ Pigs Needs your help"
Please HELP!
We were contacted about a situation with some pigs. We have assessed the situation and found them living in less that ideal conditions. Some are in the worst health condition of any pigs I have seen. Starving and covered in mange, parasites and other health issues.
The family started with 7 and have gotten in over their heads with pregnancies and other things we now have almost 100 pigs needed medical care, spay neuter, dewoming and medical treatments for mange and other conditions.
Local ordinances only allow the couple to keep 3 of the pigs. Animal control has been out and has given us some time to intervene with the situation because no one has space to take in 100 pigs at this time. If we can't find homes they will be in danger of euthanasia.
They desperately need food and we started taking out our leftover produce yesterday so the pigs could have some meals. We have ordered some extra pig food and waiting for the shipment
The rescue is at capacity with pigs and our donations are down with COVID 19. This is where we need your help. The initial estimate for medical care and spay and neuter is over $50,000
