Wildlife Rehabilitation Training

Get trained to become a licensed mammal rehabilitator
This is a 2 day seminar (Sept. 29th & 30th) for those who are serious about becoming a wildlife rehabilitator. There is an extreme shortage of wildlife rehabilitators in the Charlotte area. Classes will meet the requirement for become state licensed for small mammals including rabbits, squirrels and opossums.
Classes will be taught by seasoned instructors from Animal Rehabilitators of the Carolinas, NC Wildlife Rehab and a few other facilities. We will talk to you about what's involved in doing rehab, finding a mentor to help you and the process of becoming licensed.
We have reserved space at UNCC Charlotte Fretwell Building, Room 113 for the class. Here is a link to printable maps of the campus. There is a campus map and a parking map. Fretwell is building 45 on the maps. The closest parking is going to be the East Deck 1

Registration opens at 7:00 am Sat. Sept. 29th. Please allow plenty of time to park and get registered. We have a lot of material to cover, so we need everyone seated at 8:00 am. Class hours both Sat. and Sun. will be from 8:00 am to 5:00pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
COFFEE service is available (at no charge) in the room. You will be responsible for food, and there are many choices for lunch near the campus. We suggest you look at the map and make plans so you are prepared to eat and make it back in time.

NO REFUNDS - The cutoff date for refunds was September 15th. We have already printed manuals, paid for the classroom space, and paid for catering. If you are unable to attend you are welcome to sell your ticket to someone else. However we need the information of the person you sold your ticket to. We will need their First and Last name, address, phone #, and email address. This information is used to verify registration. If we are unable to verify registration class entry is not guaranteed.
